Different warts call for different solutions. To ensure you would get
rid of warts effectively, you first need to identify the type of warts
you have.
Warts are usually painless. But as they grow they can look gross and
annoying especially when they have developed in very visible part of the
body. Warts differ in size and texture-others can be rough while some
are smooth and flat. Warts begin in small sizes and grow together in
clusters.
Here are some of the different types of warts:

- Common warts – As its name suggest, common warts are the
‘most common’ of all types of warts. They grow on hands, fingers,
elbows and knees. They are usually dome shaped and have a rough,
grayish-brown color with black dots.

- Juvenile warts (also known as “flat warts”) - These warts
are the kind of warts found in children. They are small and smooth,
and have flat surfaces. Flat warts range from pink to brown to
yellow, and are commonly found in the face, arms, hands and knees.

- Plantar warts – This kind of warts meanwhile are painful.
They can be found in the soles of the foot. When the wart hits the
ground or feels pressure, you would sure shout with pain. Plantar
warts can be avoided by not walking barefoot in wet, public places
such as the gym locker or at the public pool. Foot hygiene is also a
must, so change your socks everyday to maintain clean and dry feet.
- Filiform warts – These are finger-shaped warts and adapt
one’s skin color. They usually grow around the eyes, nose or mouth.

- Donkey warts – These warts are pink or red in color, and
are commonly found in the genital area.
